Barrel Proof (Cask Strength, Barrel Strength, etc.) bourbon or whiskey is bottled at the exact proof it exits the barrel at. These aren't diluted with water and are only filtered to remove any wood char that mave have ended up in the whiskey during the aging process. These offerings can typically hover around the 120 proof area and obviously will pack more intensity than their label mates that are proofed down by adding more water to the mix.
